Westport Library River Walk |

The tranquil river walk was completed with donations of dedicated bricks by Friends of the Westport Library, a satellite group organized in 1947 to initiate programs and provide for extra-budgetary improvements and equipment. Friends sponsor monthly literary lunches, free concerts and films. The views from the river depict harmoniously-scaled new buildings for corporate, retail and mixed use, all carefully integrated into the landscape. Westport keeps its small town ambiance with real cosmopolitan flair.
